Scholarship Description
1. Purpose
Help the students who need financial assistance to get education and vocational training at Asian HRDC/HRDI.
2. Objective
a. Students get the opportunity to continue to study.
b. Students will gain holistic knowledge, skills and attitudes.
c. Students get a decent job after graduation and can earn money to continue his/her studies at the bachelor’s degree level.
3. Terms of scholarship provision
a. The candidates come from families that need financial assistance for tuition.
b. Candidates who do not get a scholarship from another university or institute.
c. Candidates must submit the application form with photo and other attachments (see the requirement of the application).
d. Candidates who have completed secondary or high school (12th grade, "Pass or Fail") with valid transcripts.
e. Candidate must specify the exact purpose and choice of concentration of their study. They must confirm their commitment to complete the program and engage in career planning which will contribute to the future development to the country.
f. Must pass the entrance tests in English, mathematics and general knowledge.
g. Written consent from parents/guardians is mandatory before receiving scholarship. (See form agreement).
h. Parents/guardians and candidates must attend an interview.
4. Conditions for receiving a scholarship
To receive a scholarship offered by the Asia Human Resource Development Institute in Cambodia, the applicants must:Candidates must:
a. Pass the entrance tests and interviews.
b. Pay a one-time administration fee of $100.
c. Pass a second-year interview in order to continue to receive scholarship.
d. Have a strong commitment to study hard and obey the regulations of the Institute.
e. Attain grade B (3.00, or 70 points) in overall grade average.
f. Fulfill all the conditions required in the curriculum.
g. Adapt to the HRDI values and environment. In case of failing to comply with the Institute’s values and requirements, scholarship will be terminated. Example: Studying concurrently at another university or institute is not allowed.
h. Clear all outstanding payments within the Institute before graduation.
